Special request? No problem…

Callum decided that for his ‘Thank You Teacher’ present, the only available option was an owl…I swear he can’t see further than the end of his nose! In their typical style, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander, and Talia’s order followed soon after. Talia was strict with her spec’ though and the hunt was on for “music-y” fabric that “had to look like music not just notes”. A quick hunt around a few favourite suppliers and I found the perfect thing at My Fabric House.

So if you have an idea for your owl, please do let me know. Whilst I can’t guarantee that every request can be met, I’ll try my very, very hardest – promise ;o)

busy, busy more coming soon…

As well as creating my new look blog this weekend, I have also been listening to some of the ideas that are bouncing around in my brain; soon I will be bringing you ‘Pyramid People’ (working title only I think) and ‘Pocket Monsters’ too. The materials for ‘Pyramid People’ are winging their way through the post as I type so I should be able to get cracking on those soon. Sourcing just the right bits n bobs for ‘Pocket Monsters’ is a little trickier but I’ll get there. Hope to have something new to show you very soon :)

A Parliament of Owls

Once Chloe’s Owl was complete, the children wanted one each and so the snowball started to gather momentum. I’ve made 14 already and have another 5 on the go at the moment. I also have a couple of requests for a ‘Pocket Owl’ so I’m working on scaling the pattern and should have something new to show soon. In the meantime, here’s some of the owls before they flew the nest.
